Recording of Lectures for Religious Reasons

We understand that some students are not able to attend lectures on certain days of the year for religious reasons.

In these cases, it is permissible for students to make arrangements to have the lectures audio recorded.  However, it should be understood that recordings may be used for personal, private study only, and must not be reproduced, passed on or made available to anyone else other than for transcription purposes, including by any electronic means such as email attachment or posting on any website or social media on any platform.

The relevant form can be found here.  It must be countersigned by either the Director of Studies or College Tutor.  Please then forward the completed form to the Faculty responsible for the lectures in question.
